Duration: 12 weeks (30 hours), except Beginner 1 Intensive (4 weeks)

Levels: Beginner (B1), Beginner II (B2), Beginner III (B3), Intermediate (I), Intermediate II (I2), Advanced (A)

Class times: 6:30 pm until 9:00 pm

  MONDAY

Intermediate 1 (Starting 02/01)

Advanced (starting 1/25)

TUESDAY AND THURSDAY

Beginner 1 INTENSIVE 4-week class: (01/12-02/4)
* This intensive class will allow the beginners to catch up with the new Beginner 2 class.

TUESDAY

Beginner 3 (starting 02/9)
* This class is not open for new students.

Beginner 2 (Starting 02/9)
*This will unite the Fall 2009 Beginner 1 class, the Intensive class, and a few past students

WEDNESDAY

Intermediate 2 (Starting 02/3)

Course fee: 270 USD (except Beginner 1 Intensive $180) plus cost of books
(Returning students receive $20 discount.)

Registration: All students (new and returning) are asked to register on-line. If you are a new student wishing to purchase the course material, please include $50 with your registration.

Deadline to register: December 31

Payment options: Course payment is due by your first class. Personal checks are preferred. Cash or online credit card payment accepted (please see details below).

New student book order: If you are a new student wishing to purchase the course materials, please also submit $50 by the registration deadline.

Course material: Hungarolingua 1, 2 or 3 (cost $50-$70 depending on level, exchange rate and quantity of order)

Cultural activities: Classes feature presentations on Hungarian culture, history, arts and sciences. Classes are augmented with cultural and social events organized by the HungarianAmerica Foundation, including documentary and movie presentations.

Class size: Between 4 and 12 people

Refund policy: The HungarianAmerica Foundation's Hungarian Language Program tries to make reasonable accommodations to any student that may have to withdraw from the course. Tuition fees can be refunded, less a $30 administration fee, if the cancellation is requested before the third class.
